Hello Warren and anyone, remotely interested... Yes, but then
I don't get HBO, so if anyone wants too, they can pay for the
extras on Cable.

YES also to I liked the bleeper and whatever the engineers had
as it added to the program. Sick I guess but well received by
many.

When it comes to interesting people, who have called in to programs
I have found they make a program with their antics.

Sorry I missed most of the Sandy broadcast. I don't think they showed
the entire event up here.

Our GRS or CB callsign, like the first one I used, was XM413767.
XM despite where it was supposed to be allotted to under ITU, Mexico
was that XM. Then 41 which was Ontario wide, then the exclusive
3767. XM 11 on the east coast to XM 77 in BC ... Then they for
Toronto and other communities issued XM42s, Hamilton for example
our closest city was XM43. Up where we had a farm I got XM45 along
with my own XM42 in Toronto. Two addresses.

I think "Q" like our "X" was a agreement with ITU and Mexico that
X and Q would not be able to leave the areas of operation...I guess
they never heard of the Ionisphere or something...strange twist
and I have never heard the real answer.

The station ID'ing to us was a US ham in Chicago. Never logged it,
but the setup caused lots of confusion with US CB'ers using the channels
1,2,3 as well CDN hams using 1,2,3 as Ham bands...Glad it was changed,
but missed the service it did in bridging both groups.

As for on-air mistakes. I had never heard skip before, and one morning
I ID'ed to fishermen on the lake here...they weren't here. Second time
I ID'ed I got a brass plague from Italy, and well as the skip improved
and got worse and well impossible ...so we moved and CB was put away.

I can not remember Warren which model of Lunchbox I had found. All I
know is he was happy with it. It was brand new and mannual, etc.

Yes 900mhz is another ISM or garbage band. I have only a partial list
of those against the new CB band, but it was Business. You know why.

That SONAR FS23C had channels it could not go to, due to the new
crystal installed to get it on the CB business Band. I know they
upped the power output. The Messenger Two when I got it, had
the business channel still in it. The towing place had SONAR
and a Messenger One.

When you mention bypass resistor and output that looks like the
Messenger Two. SO easy.

Yeah...right on with the extra power to get one whole S unit, but
looks how they advertise these power boosting mods and linears.

Via the Regional Director Mr. David Lyons of the Toronto Office, I
met a few great inspectors, and oh wow do some of their views click
with yours.

I'd sooner just have a great antenna and height for CB then the boots.

The Internet was experienced by business friends there in CUBA for a
visit. They managed to send pictures of the landing, and at the airport
but the resort really sucked. He told me he lost touch with a lot
of people, and business losses might have happened.

That was only that part of CUBA, and yeah ... heard about no politics
< same in Ireland > and I would guess nasty things about Castro might
result being thrown out of CUBA.
air conditioning. BTW, I wonder if there's a CO2GAS.

C02GAS ??? KB2VXA's new Callsign??? Moving to CUBA???

Another problem tieing Paket Radio to the Internet...

I might be getting the SONAR FS23C back for a visit. I should
have taken a picture of the radio, but wow was it ever in better
condition then I expected, and my friend who wanted one ...again
after selling his when he decided to go hammie... well he is back
and happy. He even has a AS Scanner 2m antenna now.

see you later ... 73 ...over n out 10 this or that Pete VE3WBZ
