Hi Dave and all,

Since you asked 64 bit runs faster than 32 bit, maybe you remember 16 bit
and that horrible 8 bit. "They" are working on even higher to keep up
with the internet particularly for business and on line gamers where
there is a definate "need for speed". That's number one, every time a new
OS comes out there are other changes, some good, some not so good. I like
my Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit which didn't take much getting used to from XP I
still use on virtual but from numerous sources I hear Win 8 is a beast so
having no desire to keep up with the Jonses I stay put as long as present
systems are supported. I'm not made of money.

Oh, you mentioned a drag and drop installation of Winpack, I don't know
how you did it since it didn't work for me the way I wanted it to.
There's something about the winpack.reg file that makes it
untransferable, copying or moving brings the splash screen back as in the
unregistered installation. No big deal if you don't mind a CRT with legs.
