Hi Paula and all,
Windows normal mode can be set up to load choices or everything, in safe
mode it loads only what it needs to run. In safe mode operations may be
performed without conflicts for that reason.
As an aside my main OS is Win 7 64 bit which won't do Winpack so I run it
in XP virtual machine. Since Winpack doesn't like the scroll wheel
WizMouse, a neat little free on the internet program took care of that.
Lastly, Win XP emulates everything back to DOS my old Amateur programs
run perfectly, now we see another problem with Win 7 even though it is
available in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.
