Re packet/Winpac, I find that it won't install from the setup disc!
However, having Winpac running on an XP computer, I did a backup of that
and put it on the Win7 Laptop.
No trouble at all and runs like a charm. Being a 16 bit program, it
doesn't go into the registry.
You could go into Win 7 compatability mode and run it, as under XP.
