Helloooooo,
again thanks for a very interesting coverage "Martin Luther"
All correct and nothing to blame but I like to ask you, if you
could make a little addition to it? (I cannot writie into PR,
only a "read access)
The both religion on Germanyy are today approcimatelly 50 . 50,
but far more interesting as the divergation of the chucrhes is,
waht Luther really wanted: Never a separation but a "reformation"
of the disgusting attitude in that time, a "back to the root" of
crhstianity. He, educated as a munc with the habit "Ora et
Labora" could noch tolerate the regualr sins and extreme
bebauchery with prostitutes and the mercyless attitude to the
lower classes. Thelling thos who even had no penny that they have
to spend money to go away with their sins in eternity? Luther
became extreme mad about that.
But this is not only his reputation, he created the German
Language: In that time the "tribes" did speak their own dialect,
often not understood 50 kilometer distant. So Luther, now being
guest of the Count of Thuringia on the Wartburg, camoufaged as
"Junker Joerg" started to translate to translate to translate the
"Holy Bible" into a all-understood German (which did not exist),
his sayig was: "I have to look to the chops of the people!" Which
was really a big worry to the Roman-Catholics because they
believed in the right to translate the bible in theri preaces
from the Latin, the reading by non-priests was not wanted.
And another change caame with Luther: Protestant Priest could
marry, Luther himselt decrlared that with some drastic words
which I better do not translate, grin He, himselve was married to
an ancient nun and had some children.
But the dark side of Luther :
finally he provoced a very very cruel Civil War between the
Nobelity (Knights) and the farmer, so so-called "farmer war" with
thenthousands of dead bodies.
Why?
Luther declared that all "humans are equal" and ment: "Equal in
the face of God" but the farmer understood it in the sence of
"equel in generel"

Later, 1618 - 48 another war by protestants and catolics eclated
where Nation like France and Austria and Tschekoslovakia and
particular Sweden took part and on the end 70 Percent of the
population was dead.
Like it always is: startign as a redligous war it is going to
political dominance
