Hi Ian and all,
To start, it looks like PR got completely mixed up. Yours is proportional
while down under it's preferred, two different systems. The latest posts
have cleared up that bit of confusion I see.
That coalition government you ended up with sounds like Congress, cats
and dogs, oil and water, etc. You can't get business done when you spend
all your time fighting and the US is fed up too.
I did a bit of looking into Nick Griffin and the BNP a while back just to
see what you're on about and it comes as no surprise the media denigrates
them and tries to avoid coverage. Perhaps the stiff upper lip crowd is
afraid that giving them coverage will give them popularity and popularity
leads to power... but that's just a Yank's guess.
Oh the nickname is Mittens and the dirt is coming out by the truckload.
The lower echelons of the media have a mining operation going on and I'm
not one bit surprised about his past, his family and their dirty
dealings. Trouble is the American voter has an attention span measured in
minutes and memory retention nil so frankly I expect the worst. O'Barmey
is an apt name and so is the Aussie pronunciation O'Bomber but it all
comes down to O'Baloney. Now do a quick Google of meat paste.
