NARL's HAMFEST THIS COMING SATURDAY IN NEWINGTON
Its time for NARLfest! This Saturday, June 16 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
St. Marys School 625 Willard Ave (Route 173), Newington! The rain
should stop by then! Here are the details.
Director Tom Frenaye K1KI is coming and will be presenting SM Betsey
Doane, K1EIC, with the George Hart Distinguished Service Award at about
11:00 a.m. This award is given to an ARRL member whose service to the
League's Field Organization is of the most exemplary nature.
The hamfest is at the same location as last year with free parking.

antennas, radios, software, gadgets VENDORS - new radios, accessories
great deals for ARRL Field Day! GUEST SPEAKERS, Displays and
information booth.
Tests for FCC licenses will be given at 10:00 a.m. And of course,
there will be food and beverages available!
Talk-in: 145.450 PL 127.3 (W1AW Repeater)
General Admission: $5. Free admission to hams licensed less than one
year MUST PRESENT VALID FCC LICENSE. Children under 12 are FREE.
Indoor Vendor: $15 per 8-foot table, $12.50 ea if paid in full by May
18, 2012
Outside Tailgaters: $12 per standard space. $10 ea if paid in full by
May 18, 2012
VENDORS: There is still time! Reserve your indoor space (8-foot table)
by sending your check to PO BOX 310133, Newington, CT 06131-0133. Set
up on Friday evening at 5:00pm, and also the first thing on Saturday
morning at 6 AM.
TAILGATERS: Reserve now! Outside spaces are $12, and these spaces are
first come, first served. Set up on Saturday at 6 AM. Bring your
treasures and find eager buyers! NARL FEST proceeds support the NARL
Scholarship program.
