I'm not really sure whats up with the WHITE PAGES being sent
out lately, but it seems things are getting a bit odd.
I've noticed more than once my callsign as being included in
white page bulletins showing that I either moved my home bbs
to someone elses machine, or that I changed my zip code, or
just other random stuff about me has changes, even though I
had not sent out any bulletins for quite some time.
Now in last nights bulletins I spotted this line in a WP bulletin:
On 120511 WH6IO/G @ YB8EW..#MKR.IDN.OC zip 94510 ? ?
WH6IO is Bob Fahnestock. He used to have the BENCA node here in Calif
until he retired a few years ago and moved to Ottawa Kansas.
If you read the WP line that came through last night, the White Page
says Bob is now in MAKASSAR SOUTH CELEBES ISLAND, INDONESIA,
but also the ZIP CODE listed in the WP shows 94510, which is BENICIA, CA
and again, Benicia California is where he used to live. And I really
doubt he moved from Kansas to Indonesia.
Anyone have any ideas as to why the WHITE PAGES have gone absolutely
crazy the last few months ??
