The signalink unit does the ptt function, when connected correctly
to your radio. In other words when audio is sent by the signalink unit,
it also activates the ptt circuit on your radio.
So all you need is a usb connection to your computer from the signalink
besides the connection to your radio.
I have been using this unit without problems both at home and portable.
