I thought this bull worth replying to as,around this time, the same sort
of thing was happening in the UK.
One case in particular was unuaual, it involved practically everybody on
one of the small Isalnds off the E coast of Scotland, including the vicar.
They were all supposed to be part of a 'Satanic Cult' which practised
paederasty among other things. It was later found to be completely untrue,
This was something the media did not want to know so very little appeared
on the news.
There were several similar cases around that time and I noticed that they
seemed to crop up when the government was about to do something it didn't
want to appear on the front pages.
Those cases did die down but, for some reason, the word 'paederasty' was
replaced by the incorrect term ' paedophilia' and seems to be the most
serious 'crime' under british law nowadays.
A recent, quite funny (though not for the victim) occurence showed how
stupid the hysteria and the uneducated public can be. A woman had her
house attacked, bricks thorogh windows garden destroyed, threats of petrol
bombs ec:
The reason the howling mob attacked her was that she had a sign next to
the door, the sort the Americans call a 'shingle'.
The sign had her name and, under it, her job.
She was a paediatrician.
