Hello ...hu hu puff puff fellow GNWB rally participants.,
Got some email from a few in the US of A, that their BBS, or
whatever has shutdown, and well there they are out there doing
their thing, with a slim line to the Packet Network for us OMs.
So what is going to happen, group mailing via the Email system
and share email addresses for those in here. Thats if "ok".
Also got a query from an OM in the US, about his no GNWB situation
and well he does a lot of walking about the streets near his
home, as well in the mall.
ANS: There is available these cheap pedometers for walkers and all
to measure their mileage and calories and all that, so well we could
start whenever, a "1st" annual walkathon and use these piece
of equipment that just clips on to the belt or in the pocket.
Maria has one, and she got another quite cheap for a friend, as
she is looking forward to walking again here, as well the YL
yearly walk where she goes from our place to another town 25km away.
Of course when she does this, I act as spotter and security and
first aid, etc... with extra shoes, water and whatever. I do insist
she takes breaks, even as every year she breaks last year's time.
As always before starting on the GNWB or this proposed walkathon...
Please check with your family doctor, and have someone there
and monitoring your progress. Just do what you can ... this is
not a race, or what...only you know how you did this year as
compared to last year, and well you can keep mumb or express that
it all has been worthwhile, and you have others with you in sprite
even if we're not alongside of you on our GNWBs.
