Hello Bob VK6BE and Angela PE1BIV and others...who I know are
reading along, and this posting by you Bob, is exactly along
the lines why we don't want Internet users and the weirdos
there on or accessing packet radio....
I am one that remembers this ....but then last summer I got
telephone threats from some user on the Internet, and well
it was quashed, and he is only alive because when they
told me they weren't going to do anything...just watch
Today HE is quiet... as he knows I KNOW exactly where he is
name and address, and this was passed to the police as well
the news of the second call.... I went 911 ... again of the
times I have used 911...I am finding it useless.

Again ... right on. So what are we going to do?
I see the BBS posting under the BBS call, postings of emails from
someone to someone and their alledged callsign...a message of whatever
and then the next posting ...same BBS his reply and email ... this is
NOT HAM Radio Packet. Thank goodness someone dropped that bbs
as they don't come here anymore. I wonder too ,if it was my messages
to sysops of BBSes, as well emailing them?
Also many HAMs have websites to demonstrate their activities and I
guess "anyone" can access them to read, and thats great, but then
whatabout the HAMS on Packet that might not like this idea of
being on some website somewhere and someone or something reading
their postings and getting emails and phone numbers and names and
callsigns and even addresses ...etc.
NO ... if they are so desperate to read Ham Radio Packet Postings,
I say let them get their own licence to be on Packet... YEAH
I am with Angela and Bob on this one.
