Hi Dave and all,

I've heard about packet's War of the Roses down under and every time 
someone mentions it I get another chuckle. We never had more than a few 
spot skirmishes here, for the most part NetRom was welcomed with open 
arms and we were glad to see that clumsy ROSE switch bite the dust. 
You're right:
"Netrom however is still existent and is the backbone of much
forwarding via netrom nodes around the world."
The North East BBS (NEBBS) network or what's left of it these days has 
been exclusively NetRom for years.
