You can work that one out for yourself Warren but I can tell you that the
church office photo copier (I run the church office BTW) uses powder toner
black, yellow, magenta and cyan. It is a modern Kyocera and it does not
spill the powder all over the place.Neither does my ancient laser which
also uses black powder toner.

What you're talking about is ordinary lamp black (pigment) powder but 
what makes it stick to the paper? Even the old electrostatic photocopiers 
used black liquid toner, lamp black suspended in water emulsion. Somehow 
I just can't wrap my brain around "black powder" and why it doesn't spill 
all over the place.
