Hello Bob VK6BE and Ian G0TEZ and others..perhaps just reading along;
I have to agree with Bob VK6BE on the PICS @WW and 1 of 100 parts
that flood the local BBS here, when looking for interesting things.
On saying that, well we could add the parts that are posted for
WX etc...and it is not because I do not have 7Plus...just that
I have not had any real reason to use it, and well 100 parts
flooding the Packet Radio Network...well it is a bit frustrating
going thru it all.
I see too, as I have this opportunity, that someone got a hold of
the sysop and or BBS issuing the Pannon@Pannon to let him know
about email messages going to email messages...well whats the point
putting them on packet radio, if there is NO way to address 'em
back, unless you email them...Dumb.
Now to the Programs, and well I have used mine since I can not remember
and I have a few on disk stored as well on the old Landline BBS if anyone
wants one. Ian G0TEZ took the wind outta my sails when he mentioned to
Bob about PAket ver6.0 ... I think I have that one and a few versions
of it ...so glad you helped Bob there Ian.
I have tried Winpack BTW ... sorry did nothing for me... via the Internet
my program works, and I also used for a Telnet program to the old LL BBSs
that went Internet access something called Pro95 which I really liked
and with it, the Offline Reader that complimented it.
I liked the "taglines" available and ones that could be easliy grabbed
here and there, as I see with Bill G0MFW who has a tagline after every
message to make readers smile ...Thanks Bill.
Ok ... gotta get going... had a lazy hazy day...
