Same situation here Warren. We have a few million square miles of
unoccupied land but you must not grow plants to make ethanol as we are
going to need it to grow food in the year 2222. Now all together now in
the green chorus:

No more oil - it pollutes
Central Australia for windmills and solar panels and then long
transmission lines to the centres of population (Julia gave us this one
with Green assistance). The longest and biggest transmission lines in
history!! Hey how do they make the copper lines and huge towers?
Underground lines? You are kiddig!!
Close down industry. Tax it out of existence. You can walk from Melbourne
to Perth or ride a gee gee. It's only 3000 km you lazy dog!! Camel? Yes
bring back the camels! Houses? Use tents. Hey but that means make them.
Can't have that! Pardon us for being alive!
Bob VK6BE.

>Yes, windmills are popping up like mushrooms in morning dew and I'm
seeing more and more solar panels around here. Just as well, supply and
demand dictates fuel prices so rising costs are driving us to renewable
energy sources, now if only the greenies would get off that ethanol vs.
food crops high horse we'd have one less battle to fight. The heart of
the matter is they have concrete blocks for brains but that's another
rant.
