Hi Roger and all,
Like I said, say hello to the mall rats. (;->) At least it's not freezing
here YET but soon enough the cougars will have to find the malls or
treadmills putting an end to this year's eye candy.
Oh, for those not up on American slang a cougar is an attractive older
woman not yet morphed into a stringbean or hog.
Speaking of hogs, at least the Hormel plant doesn't stink as bad as
Secaucus used to when it was surrounded by pig farms and open landfills.
Then a bit south in Newark across from the airport is Anheuser Busch
(sp?) that can gag a maggot when they're brewing and the wind is right. I
used to work at the airport and there were times it spoiled my lunch and
then some. Actually Spam wouldn't be so nasty if they didn't load it with
salt but then it wouldn't last so long on the shelf that the ancients
stocked tombs with it as mummy food.
They say that cockroaches can survive a nuclear attack, give them little
can openers so they have something to eat.
Yes, windmills are popping up like mushrooms in morning dew and I'm
seeing more and more solar panels around here. Just as well, supply and
demand dictates fuel prices so rising costs are driving us to renewable
energy sources, now if only the greenies would get off that ethanol vs.
food crops high horse we'd have one less battle to fight. The heart of
the matter is they have concrete blocks for brains but that's another
rant.
