Hi Warren and all of the rest of the readers,
It was 25F here this morning. The wife and I are going out to the mall
to do some walking in comfort and we will also stop for a cup of
coffee while were there. The darn wind blows here so much, I guess thats
why they put up so many of the wind generators around the country here.
Their are hundreds of them within 20 miles of us. Even regular people are
putting them up now, so they can make some money and reduce their
electric bills. In most cases, they actually make more money from the generator
then they use in electricity from the power company.
We are about as ready for this coming winter as we can be. The only thing
I don't have saved up, is, a lot of money. HA HA
Not much else for news from the southern Minnesota town of Austin.
This is where they put all of the SPAM IN THE CANS. It is the main packing
plant for the HORMEL CORP. They process 600 hogs per hour. I live just
a few blocks from the packing plant, so we get a lot of the aroma when
the wind is out of the north west. Not really a good thing, let me tell you.
73 to all from Roger kb0son
