As for planet X, you'll never see it coming... again. It passed so long
ago I forgot the title of the movie now that you've piqued my curiosity.
Eh, Ian brought up Mir but gravity brought it down, now all that's left
is ISS and the station is on automatic so I gave up on the digipeater
long ago having tired of all those vain hams putting their callsigns up
in lights. BTW, my QSO was voice with a cosmonaut, not surprisingly he
spoke perfect English as I found out later the language was manditory in
USSR schools.
Seems more like Bob's words echo in The Sounds Of Silence (last line of
the song) so I can't hear his talking dog or the dingo down at the pub
singing Waltzing Matilda. Not worried about the frogs either, you may
remember the hippies failed to levitate the Pentagon (although the more
highly stoned among them claimed it rose) nor did they get rid of the
demons, it took the Khmer Rouge to do that in the fall of Saigon.
Speaking of hippies, once upon a time they were out to save the world but
since they became greenies they've been hell bent on wrecking it... 'nuff
said.
So the satellite plopped down in the ocean, no wonder nobody made a big
deal of it. I don't know what Bill O'Riley or Whoopie Goldberg have to do
with anything but LOOK OUT, Rosie O'Donnell is back, this time on OWN,
the aptly named cable channel owned by Oprah Winfrey. Between the two of
them I can see the need for wide screen HDTV.
