Hi Pete & Mrs. Calabash wherever you are,

Looks like they're gone again but it's a safe bet the night has a
thousand eyes. (Bobby Vee?)

So your mouse has gone south, since they don't migrate it's likely it
made a nest somewhere getting ready for the winter. If it's a ham shack
mouse it's nearby somewhere but if it's a Field Day mouse it could be
anywhere in the neighborhood and only drops by at night to say .... ..
In times past my PS2 mice suffered from sticky balls but this one being a
USB optical should lave a long, trouble free service life. Here's a
twist, the iMac these days comes with wireless keyboard and MagicMouse,
then there's the alternative touch pad, I forgot what Apple calls it.
Next step; voice recognition and Kirk frustrated at a computer that calls
him honey.

Hmmm, I thought you'd make the connection between Odessa and Weasel but I
guess not. Just a subtle poke best not explained, Andy is probably
lurking with the rest of the Lost Packeteers and may take my twisted
humor the wrong way, no sense in offending anyone.

WEIRDO Glen made a few half hearted stabs at his BBS, read a few things
but never made his presense known. I guess he lost interest since that
was a while ago and the e-mail subject dropped, then his computer
faltered and finally quit. He got a new one with Lion OS (that's Mac BTW)
and started over, seems his old HD went FUBAR. That's where things stand
now, there are no indications he'll return to packet especially since we
couldn't find a single packet Telnet program written for Mac and the
Telnet option bundled with Snow Leopard (his previous OS) was nothing but
trouble.

As for King Bob of New Albania, there is a glimmer of hope. After some
discussion and my sending him a few software bits the windup was
something along the lines of "...I'd better install Winpack." Then my
final remark in the last e-mail was my twisted version of You Better You
Better You Bet by The Who. Wait for it................

"I have read a few onliners from you."
That's easy enough, I use my callsign as my user name wherever I go so
any old search engine will turn up my whereabouts.

"Some really hate you Warren."
You must have found a lurker hideout, I've not seen hate mail in my usual
on line forums.

"I think they hate you because you might have constructive opinions."
Possibly, but the moderators on one certain site hate me because I
encourage people to think for themselves. That got me one step from the
ban hammer, I'm beginning to agree with those on other sites who think
they're a bunch of (censored).

Hey lurkers wazzup? Don't you have anything to say?
