Hello to all that used to read the OM @WW ...also to those who dare
to read, and thats "ok" we never hear from you ...sometimes ridicilous.
If you're there Warren KB2VXA, I got your posting today, and will anwser
it ASP...as I finish the day...lots to do since returning with the
Yellow Submarine after our long weekend out there up north, in dose
dar north woods.
Yep...saw the Wild Pigs on TV and the report from New York, and well
glad they are not the wild boars or what I have seen, and well their
tusks could really chew one up... serious injury, and death.
Told my local hunter about it, and he didn't rule out a visit to
New York State to help the "bennies" out. Hahahahha ...I mentioned
slabs of "FREE Bacon" and "FREE Pork" for the BBQ ...but then customs
would never let him back into CANADA with that fresh meat he hunted,
so I guess that idea died.
Also saw the accent marks request from Ian G0TEZ and ...well I used to
have that in my DOS machine, but then...who uses them anymore? Interesting
challenge to look anyhow.
Pouring rain ... and the other reason for coming home early, to get going
on the house repair is stalled, as I play "answering message machine tag"
with our local repair guy. If he doesn't call me after all my return
calls while away, I am going to get the Insurance company to bring someone
else in, and get it estimated and done.... June to todaY..IS a bit too
long.
We also have travelling RV companions that we were to go with...but due
to the house...we didn't....We think they are swimming in the rain today
in Algonquin Park.... and at $ 60 /day...that is a waste.
OK ... have to go... making a pie... and yeah my riding the GNWB is
looming again as I see fall next month and then WINTER ....
OK... my best to all ... if anyone is out there ...
