Robust Packet Nodes List - 07/20/2011
The following are all the 24x7 Robust Packet nodes (non-APRS)
known to me, sorted by grid. All frequencies are "dial" and
assume 1500 Hz CF.
DM26KE - North Las Vegas, NV:
NODE = KE7XO-2 (BPQ32)
RMS = KE7XO (BPQ32 Winlink Gateway)
FREQ = 3.5855 USB
FREQ = 7.0815 USB
FREQ = 7.1015 USB
FREQ = 10.1405 USB
FREQ = 10.1455 USB
SCAN = YES
* I'm in process of confirming the above.
EL98PF - Rockledge, FL:
RMS = KN6KB-5 (Winlink RMS Tri-Mode beta test site)
FREQ = 7.0815 USB
FREQ = 10.1300 USB
* Not really a node, but I'm sure Rick would appreciate some
test connects from RMS Express users.
EM41SR - Wesson, MS:
Node = WU3V-5 (BPQ32)
BBS = WU3V (BPQBBS)
FREQ = 7.103 USB* (see note 1)
* temporarily off the air due to QTH move.
EM68SR - Mitchell, IN:
NODE = N9LYA-7 (BPQ32)
BBS = N9LYA (BPQBBS)
BBS HA = N9LYA.#SIN.IN.USA.NOAM
RMS = K9BBS-10 (BPQ32 Winlink Gateway)
FREQ = 7.101 USB
FREQ = 7.103 USB (see note 1)
FREQ = 14.113 USB
SCAN = YES
07/16/2011 - temporarily off the air for RP rig repairs.
Also available on WINMOR, Pactor, and several BBS packet
Skipnets.
EM78PP - Dry Ridge, KY:
Node = WA4ZKO-4 (BPQ32)
BBS = WA4ZKO-1 (BPQBBS)
BBS HA = WA4ZKO.#NKY.KY.USA.NOAM
RMS = WA4ZKO-10 (BPQ32 Winlink Gateway)
FREQ = 7.103 USB* (see note 1)
ANT = vertical
SCAN = not normally
07/19/2011 - Currently on 10.1473 USB for a few days of testing.
Keep connects on 10.1473 brief as it's the HF RP APRS freq ;-)
Should be back on 7.103 USB around July 26/27th.
* system may be on other bands for brief periods of testing.
Note 1 - 7.103 USB usage notes can be found on the Robust Packet
Yahoo Group listed below. General use frequency, limited BBS to
BBS forwarding is allowed.
14.103 USB is apparently in use for RP in EU and at least one
trans-Atlantic RP contact was made recently. At this time I’m
not aware of any full time RP infrastructure (BBS, RMS, Nodes)
on the air in EU, but I suspect there are some in place.
