Hi Roger and all,
Nothing personal, I don't recall the exact wording but I usually refer to
"most people" or something similar, this being an open forum. It's been a
long time since I serviced the old (then) reliable Briggs & Stratton but
the carb probably needed cleaning once in a while too. The oil sump was
another, it got the kerosene treatment occasionally not that the
neighbors liked that very much.
You'd be surprised how many don't give a thought to seasonal storage and
wonder why the engine won't start or some other difficulty come next
season, my landlord is one of them. I wonder when or if he'll fix that
slipping clutch on the snow blower, every year he battles with it getting
clogged never questioning why snow dribbles out the chute when it should
fly out for some distance.
Right, I'm not as stupid as I look either but nobody pays attention to me
