Hello Everyone,
Hi Pete and warren and all the rest that read this.
It is 60 F right now. Very warm for this time
of the year. It is usually around 50 for our high
temp right now. But the rain we had all last night
was sure welcome. I don't know just how much we got, becaue I was
afraid to put out the rain gauge's because of the
risk for them to get frozen and maybe busting. I usually
wait until the end of this month to do that.
I am also riding the GNWB at times. I am not a fanatic
about it, but I do ride a few miles each day. I have
the lawn mower up out of the basement now. It sits in the
garage waiting for me to take the carburator apart and give
it a good cleaning so it will start a little more easily.
I kept the battery charged all winter, so I am hoping it
works for another year with out me having to replace it.
The battery that is. Not the mower. This mower goes as
fast as you walk and doesn't try to drag you around the
corners when you turn it like some of them do.
The price of Gasoline here is $3.75 a gallon. I am sure
it will be over 4 dollars a gallon this summer.
That will make the economy go down the tubes. People just
can't pay that much for gasoline and make a living driving
to a job that pays only $7.50 an hour. Of course the
goverment doesn't care one bit about the working poor.
Thats it for now. 73 guy's and gal's.
Roger & Patty.
