Hi Pete and all,
Oh for Pete's sake (and that means you) why not take my advice? To recap;
modify the GNWB to spin and alternator charging a battery through a
regulator like a vehicular system. Then power the TV through an inverter
with no other power source. That way not only do you eliminate the
settings and calorie counter, no more friction generated heat, but you
then have to pay the price for sitting around growing flab around the
middle. That's right, no more TV until you work it off charging the
battery. So am I a practical man or what?
Your plan to put new rubber on the GSWB (go somewhere bike) for local
transportation is no substitute but an adjunct and serves a dual purpose
too. Not only do you get excersise but you save petrol too and have more
money for Maria's "health food" if you get my drift. Now do I have to
tell you that getting up from the table still a bit hungry helps keep the
flab off so you won't have to bust your butt earning some TV time? Yeah,
not only am I practical but a bit of a fitness trainer too. (;->)
As for me, due to some health issues that have once again taken priority
I can't go whole hog and get all the excersise I need... oh well. What
annoys me is I'm gaining weight again so I keep a careful watch on my
diet and the frustrating part is taking frequent rest stops on my bike
but like Ned Kelly supposedly said before they hanged him; "That's life."
Oh if the name is unfamiliar Google it, his capture just might have been
where the phrase "getting your legs shot out from under you" began. Hmmm,
a re-enactment on World's Dumbest Criminals would be interesting.
