The AGM will be held in the No.1 Radio School, Cosford on Sat. 1st Oct.
Cost of dinner is #24.00pp. Room rate: #58.00 (BB) Double (#50.00 Single).

The RNARS RSARS and RAFARS stands are again going to be co-located at the
Blackpool Rally on 10 April in the Norbreck Hotel. SES GB2NOR.

OPERATION HOME GUARD 2011.
RAFARS, with the assistance of RSARS, will put on a Special Event Station
in support of the annual "Operation Homeguard" held in the village of
Ingleton on 1-3 July 2011. This is a 1940's re-enactment of the liberation
of the Ingleton twin town in Normandy. The callsign is not yet determined.
Anyone who is able to assist in setting up and running the station, please
get in touch with Roy g0tak@kencomp.net.

GB2RAF AIR DEFENCE RADAR MUSEUM RAF NEATISHEAD RAFARS PERMANENT S.E.S.
It has now being confirmed GB2RAF will be operational on Sat 9th April
and 2nd Sat of the Month thereafter.
Quite a number of people have requested CW time from GB2RAF.
So, from the 9th April, GB2RAF will be going to CW at 1300hrs local on
3.567Mhz until freq is Calls clear.
Sorry GB2RAF will not be operational on the 2/3 April but an AOTA point
may be claimed for working GB2RAF at any time.
If I can arrange access to the museum for Museums on the Air weekends
in June I will advise all.

AIR TRAINING CORPS.

INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION/SHUTTLES.
19 Apr Endeavour STS134 L/O 1448gmt to the ISS with Express Logistics AMS.
28 Jun Atlantis STS135 L/O 1048gmt to ISS with logistics and return a
defective pump.
Shuttle Atlantis will visit the ISS for the last time.
That will be the very last of the Shuttles to visit the ISS after 30yrs.
The Soyuz TMA will then be visiting the ISS and I will report its visits
or any other flights to the ISS.
All Shuttle Flights are subject to delays from minutes to months.
If members wish to obtain ISS naked eye visual passes contact News Desk
for times of visual pass overs. Next evening viewing is 22 to 26 April.
