Hello Warren KB2VXA, and our faternal order of the OM .,

I am sorry Warren, I did not reply ASP, as I had have hoped
due to a friend of mine, also having contact wih the "BIG C"
and needing support. The outcome, has been, he must come back
in "5" years for a regular checkup, as one of those polyps
turned out to be a baddie.

I am happy to read in your posting, you had "red flags" all the
time, and the appointment was moved up. In my case, for the
kidney removal, they told me in August, and then planned for
November which gave me the rest of the summer to sail ...so
that wasn't too bad, as I am not one to be a waiter for too long.
I'd rather they tell me ASP , and ASP just do the surgery.

I have a passed history of immediate surgerys.

That reminds me of the stunt I pulled last year. The pain I had while
online with Maria in Brasil, and I just thought...oh ok... just pulled
a muscle again...but it got worse, and I found it strange, so out came
my mother's medical books, and I did a bang-up job scaring the whatevers
outta myself.

The funny thing, was contacting my "family doctor"...I guess everone
reading my postings , when I mention this, know the story there...
but his gifted-twit receptionists, no matter how I tried to press
on them, it was an emergency...I needed him...insisted I come in
sometime next week...huh... and well I dropped him. Twit still
gets my lab reports, but is no longer recognized by me as my doctor.

I had a few problems like that of your lower back and hips, and they
never found it at all...in fact, the last one, I went to the hospital
and they did tests and found something else, but never treated the
reason for the visit.

I liked your alien abduction reason for the object.

Sorry to use that ... he just seemed so well fit... but then we had
a few of them I can rememeber as you say...and as rememebered as
scarny-twiggy-types but real peddlers....crazy people...but they
loved the bike...how far...and of course the CB on the bike...
nowadays replaced with a cellphone...and no big deal. Easy to
track and listen to on the CB.

> I rather figured that CB up your way is communications as it should

I think here it reached a peak ...and well now is quiet, and free
of movie idiot-types. All places have had their characters
as we've gone thru this...but now not too bad, and useable as
many longtime folks I knew have told me, about buying the CB
for the mobile, and knew desire their radio from their past.

I have an order now for a SONAR FS23C ...and I have BTW found
"2" mint condition ones in the box, and hope to see them this
weekend or thru the week. Inspect and buy..is the word.
also availble is a SONAR J23.

Our local RAECT here is better then the ARES guys. Saw ARES at
a local demo...REACT and their members made them look like real
whackers. ARES was supposed to send 7 people. Only "1"
showe up...his excuse for the others were, they were at home
doing checkins via their internet connections to repeaters etc
...huh?

I guess you are also referring to my past postings of where I say
Ham and CB operators are dinosaurs and dieing out. For the
benefit of your posting, I will look at the site, but until
my opinion changes or I see better numbers, I am still of that
opinion. Here...not one school I know of has a Ham Radio
setup ... that disappeared and now is all computer...Internet
and every youngster has a cellphone.

WE both hate VISTA too .... all started rightaway with their mail system
as it never did work. OK...I guess a trip to the store is in order
to grab that Win7 for both computers. I have my XP back up and
running now after a "virus" hit me no warning.... somehow the Anti-virus
did not see it .... called "PC security Tools" and it does not look
official from anywhere...it attacked and nulled all my files and programs
and replaced the display screen picture with it's own warning message
and well the small print gave it away as being a virus...Nothing worked
not even my anti-virus program which is dubbed a spyear to delete...
I had to hook-up the BBS computer...dialup and go to a site to read
others having the same problems but seemingly no answers...except some
one mentione it was a number program to stop it running then delete
BUT hahahaha all everything on the computer was stopped and prevented
from running ...even that command suggestion ... I as glad to just
get some things out...and use the recovery disc. In the meantime as
it happened the DSL link as shutdown... Now it is back up....virus
gone.... using another anti virus for demo before buying and I hate
this one more then the other.
