Hi Pete and all,
Starting with the polyp while it's on my mind, my appointment to consult
with the doctor wasn't until the very end of the month and still I was
booked as a new patient. I got to thinking... red flag! Just now I got
off the phone with another my surgeon referred me to and I'm scheduled
for next Wednesday, now that's more like it, normal in fact. I called the
first and cancelled so the ball is rolling in my favor. I don't have to
tell you why the red flag, I'm sure you can figure that out in a New York
minute.
Consider yourself lucky you never got blood poisoning, not only do you
have severe flu like symptoms that only get worse with each passing day
but left untreated it's fatal. After blood tests I was immediately put in
the ICU "wired for sound" but after 4 months in antibiotics IV I made a
full recovery. Blood tests all down the line to confirm recovery and I
was finally released from my cage but meanwhile it caused severe pain in
my lower back and hips, apparently aggrivating an existing condition. I
was repeatedly scanned six ways to Sunday and back again, they never did
find the source of the pain. Here's the funny part, they found a shadow
the size and shape of a surgical retractor in my left thigh, I never had
surgery so it puzzled us all. Here's the joke, I told them it's an alien
implant from my last abduction. (;->) Anyway no relapse, they made darn
sure of that!
I have no idea why you'd think of Irb as a "muscle beach" guy, male and
female alike they're young showoffs and he was anything BUT. Even if he
were young he was humility personnified, contraversial but never bragged
or showed off, selfless as the day was long too.
I rather figured that CB up your way is communications as it should be,
free of idiots especially now since they finally had it up to THERE with
each other and quit. REACT is just fine with me as long as they're not a
bunch of wackers getting underfoot like they did for a while, up until
that point I was a member and we served well. I remember a particularly
bad MVA I called in and they relayed the info and instructions I gave
from the scene, First Responders did exactly as I said and got there in
record time without a hitch. Eh, some may think that CB and ham are dinos
going extinct but that's hardly the case when you see it from another
angle. Radio Reference dot com is that angle, primarily a scanner site
they also have GMRS, CB and ham forums where newbies seek advice and they
wouldn't be there if they were going extinct.
Maria has VISTA? Oh no, that turned into Microsoft's worst disaster so no
wonder she's not a happy camper. Not only did they finally fix that mess
with Win 7 but that turned into their biggest success so hint hint? I'm
using W7 Ultimate with XP on the VM to run Winpack and am about as
pleased as I can get. Speaking of update restart nags I have another one
but it's behaving so if it doesn't get all up in my face like the last
one I can finish my packet in peace. (;->)
