> Yep I'm ok. Just got tired from all the shoveling.

Hello Roger, and Patty, and how wonderful it is to hear
from you, and sorry for my ringing of the alarm bells.

Our project, and the days not hearing from you, well
it had me thinking weather and cold, and what I have
been doing every day ...SS < Shovelling SNOW >.

> It has slowed down now. Hardly any snow for the
> last week now. It is quit cold now though. Our temp

The Snow here is still blowing about, but streamers, and
wind blowing from the lake, have it coming down all the
time or sideways...and I have shovelled, and 3times a day
and just come in and had a nap....the GNWB...well thats
a no go for the day. Jus really pooped out.

I have to do my fahrenheit conversion later <g>, as I am
in the process of waking up, checking the emails and
packet then ...well -10c this AM...and snow flurries
again....so it is outside to clear the pathways.

I agree with you on the position of the sun. More on
the horizon for you, then me by a tick...I am I think
a bi more south then you...and as the sun pops up here
I can hardly wait for the rays to come thru the window.

Yes ... Maria has the sun overhead nearly in Brasil. On
Skype she looks so hot, and the sun is there...then they
do have these wild tropical storms, violent...but they
are in the 30c ...going to 20s at night.

Aaaah the Garden. Well as reported in YL @WW...yes I am
all prepared this spring to dig the soil there and arrange
it to start planting the tomatos and whatever Maria sez
as she arrives home in April.

> I am still trying to lose wieght but I ain't doing very good.

I agree with you. I think we might hit a plateau and stop
to loose due to natural bulking up for the winter, and I
have tried to find a formula Roger...for those of us..like
you and I in the northern areas, where weight and shovelling
< You-know-what> equals how many calories burned in a minute.

The only thing I have noticed, is I am better after a ride
on the GNWB ... even cover more distance and more calories
in the promised 5minutes Maria sez I have to do. Then like
you, I feel I am eaing more in the winter. Your not alone
in your thoughts.

Walking aroud here....hmmm one needs a real winter parka,
a face shield to prevent windburn and frostbite, and then
real boots, not those city things ....and when a whiteout
hits, hope some vehicle doesn't hit you, or those speeding
idiots on the snowmachines or 4wheeler bikes.

Maria is the walker... she even has her friends go on long
walks with her...but they never go on the real walk she
does every year...thats the one were I sort of come along
with the van...with water for a drink and snacks, shoes
and also to give her the ride home. That is a real walk.

> When we do that, we end up walking 18 city blocks.
> We do that almost everyday in the summer time.
> Tahst it from here. I look at the OM catagory everyday.
> Glad your all doing ok. Winter is hard on people.

The spring time and summer are coming Roger and Patty...
and yes I look forward to it too!!! Glad you have not
given up...and better to know you are ok ... I have to
be ok...I don't wanna pull the stunt I did last year
as reported by Billie KB0WSA ... <g>... Do what you can.
Thats what I do. It is all we can ...

Have a great day everyone... OMs and YLs ... and see
us all next time...same packet station <g>
