Hello to OM @WW ... and all perhaps reading ...

Got an SP from Norway and is now emailed to Maria,
to let her know, that person's thoughts. I guess
they liked the Diet Soup...and or her contributions
to YL @WW and OM @WW alike.

OK...from a few emails on the subject I put forth
in a past posting of OM @WW, for our Weight Loss Program.

Interesting input, from whatever source they used, and
interesting as it relates to weight, time and how many
calories burned shovelling snow, as CANADA and the USA
have well gone passed our share. Does not say,
the gender of the person the stats apply to...but ok here
goes.

  155lb burns 223 calories in 30 minutes
  150lb burns 414 calories in 1 hour
  165lb burns 214 calories in 30 minutes ....
and on 3 events ...< same input >
  165lb burns 225 calories in 30 minutes

Big difference for the 165lb..burning 214,
then 3x 225 calories. I am wondering what is a happy average
that those of us slugging with shovels, then perhaps being
fortunate to have a Snowblower, which means less calories
burned as you follow the machine along, getting sprayed
by snow if the chute going the right way, and the wind.

I have a snowblower. I shovel the pathways in the backyard
and shovel off the fornt steps, then where I need the
snowblower I get it out, to finish off. Thats where
I try to figureout, my snow shovelling -snowblowing
calorie burn.

As for the GNWB ... I am doing better, even still while at
5 minutes, as I promised Maria. I feel better, and more
energy, and less fall off the bike rest time. SO I do
see an improvement, in myself, even if I have not checked
the scales for the end of the month comparison.

Input, via emails, has been great for those emailing me.
They are working at their own pace and having a lot of fun.
Thats great. No real schedule, and ok a few might see...oh
no loss, but from those this month, even if no weight loss
they feel better, as I do ..so something is working in
our favour.

Gotta go ...yeah..SNOWing tonight...might have to shovel
and Snowblower on standby...as well tomorrow is garbage
day so I have to get up early to ge the trash to the
curb in the 3 containers to make an impact on our
whatever.

Please post when you can. Or email me ... if you want
sometime posted... let me know. Names and calls can
be left out if you desire.

Another thing I remember from the Men's Club...was
this... "We're all in this together!"
