Again welcome Bill, and you touch the @WWs I am very proud to
be a member of over the years. Being in Calfornia, you might
remember Nancy KE6LHU ...who BTW in 1995 put on disk...I have
a copy...the 1995 YL Cookbook. There were so many recipes
we had to open RECIPES @WW to help those reading the postings
and collecting the recipes.
The YL @WW Packet Net, was humming along when I joined in 1992
as my mother wanted some info, and well the emails poured in
and via that, she made some really good friends. They would
write all the time, right up to the time they passed from us.
I do not think you will be disappointed. OM @WW is just
like YL @WW ...the gals invited us into their net.. and
only last year OM @WW got started, just for fun like YL for
the guys, BUT the gals are invited, and of course then there
is our health project to loose weight, so there have been
repeats of diet plans and foods and soup that WORK...and
well ou migh have noted I joined with Rodger my US partner
in Minnesota to loose weight. Rodger and I weigh the same
and I have tried to be on the <GNWB>= Go No Where Bike every
day, that I can between shovelling ... I fear Rodger has been
shovelling so I wonder where he is, but I know Patti is looking
after him...so sooner or later we'll all hear from them.
My location Bill ...is Jackson's Point, Ontario, Canada ...
the south end of Lake Simcoe....about a sones throw from
a frozen lake...and covered in snow...some coming down the
rest blowing in ...So I shovel. In the meantime, my wife
Maria....well she is visiting family in BRASIL....and well
I see her often via Skype in the heat...opposite the freezing
temps here. 30c there right as I type.
I have blabbed enough... I gotta get going...I hope no shovelling
today. But then I have to cut some wood for the fireplace, so
again welcome...and I have a question for those in the know...
Given my weight from the report...and I have shovelled snow...
like how many calories have I burned? I was out there three times
during that dumper we had.... 2 times just to clean another few
inches of snow...but then to clean the snow dumped by the Snowplow
from the town in my driveway and entrance. That was a bummer.
