Hello John KR0L ... I like your idea, as I have always when I
"was" on HF and nets, advertised the fact I was also on Packet
and via that on-air statement got a few re-activated on Packet
here in Ontario. Only one was a club ... and I love on the
frequencys I operate, and those I search...well I try to
connect and say hello ... and well that is also interesting.

Keyboard to keyboard... well I go thru a node to friends
in Toronto, 50 or whatever miles to the south.

To help others north of me..I leave my TNC on, when I can,
or remember, and it is set to digipeater so they can connect
to the nodes and stations south of me via the digi VE3WBZ-2.

YES..I am all in favour...and I look forward to your ideas
and others.

OKay...next is Danny PD0SNK's reply to KR0L ...for which
I have a a comment....

HF Pactor? I'd like to do that, but oh well the wires have to
be put up, and well NO volunteers yet to help me. As for CB
well that is totalling another band and not ham radio, but mmm
interesting, as I still hold a Canandian GRS licence and have
no problems with some of the operators in my area, and I have
to say their organizations ..like REACT have been outstanding.

Oh well..also have run into folks trying it out, and this is
great.

Good Luck John and Danny ...hope you get lots of responses.
