Hi.

My RF ports have not been used in over a year, 144.850 and 432.675, so I
am closing both permanently. Access will be Telnet only as follows:

GB7LDI The BBS ----- g3ldi.shacknet.nu port 6400

GB7RDX DX Cluster --- g3ldi.shacknet.nu port 7000

I will maintain my present forwarding of course, and if anybody wants to
forward with GB7LDI in NOrwich, UK, please let me know, again Internet only.
I could use a Cluster link to the Antipodes if anybody is interested. I am
running AR-Cluster.

I have had the RF ports open since 1983 and I think I have worn out both
frequencies! Actually the use has declined to zero now as did my Satellite
Gateway, so I guess it is a case of Internet 1 G3LDI 0. It really is a
shame, especially now we are embracing the Internet in conjunction with the
BBS because amateur radio traffic using the BBS is infinitely more
interesting than just using Email. Such is life! Hey-Ho, live with it and do
more DX-ing!

Many thanks to all who used GB7LDI on RF over the years. I now have a
few Tiny-2 TNCs and DRSI 1200/9600 cards - plus an STS-II TNC, little used
for disposal if anybody is interested.

73 de Roger, G3LDI
