I got an email from a friend, informing me that, someone I
knew starting in the 1960s, had passed away this month.
John Ommacht VE3JO, in the 1960s was with the DOC , now
Industry Canada, and well I was in Public school-high school
days, and sailing, and the "CB" on the boat was my way to
keep in touch with my parents ...and thus this is how
I came to know John, and well our relationship started.
I am sure you can google all the info on the Internet somewhere,
and I really know nothing about his activities on ham radio
international, so ...well if someone knows him, I hope this
is news you would like to hear if he didn't get in touch with
you and you wondered why?
