Hello All Packeteers ... and this isn't an easy posting,
as I am doing it while connected.
I was replying to Mike VE3UIL on his SB posting, when I
see Trevor M1CUK's posting about the closure of GB7FCR BBS
a Major UK BBS ...and then also Ian G0TEZ's posting, and
oh yeah Ian ... I got it, and enjoyed our exchanges too.
Before this all and as I started to reply to Mike, now
I guess Trevor and also Ian too ... I realized how
many nails just went into the Packet coffin, and it
really hurt.
I had hopes that someone, or a group, or a club would
have stepped up to takeover from Trevor, and keep
things going ....BUT now ... from growing ,it is
shrinking, and I guess that is going to be the way
it will be until. I only see a few on my radio freq
looking for other packeteers.
I am speechless !!!!!!! Reallly !!!!!
