Hi Sergej,
The stations you mentioned, VK8DA, VK2TV and VK5?? are all QRT now. There is
no packet activity on 20m now that I know of. VK2AAB is still operating his
Pactor III mailbox, but it is only on occasionally.
In VK, all the HF packet activity is on 30m and 40m. Most of this is APRS
activity. If you listen at the right time of day, you might hear it. On 40m,
the right time would be from 0500z to 0800z.
BBSs are on 7.03916 MHz LSB.
APRS is on 7.036 MHz LSB and 10.1476 MHz USB.
All these frequencies are dial frequencies assuming 1600/1800 Hz tones and
FSK 300 baud mode.
You stand a better chance of hearing the GMSK250 or PSK63 transmissions which
are on 7.0347 MHz actual. Best to use APRS Messenger software for this.
