That may be true - I'd have to check the records. Number of direct users is
not something I'm particularly focussed on.

Probably - at least for a while. New users may spring out of the woodwork at
any time - yeah right!

I agree - the network works better than ever. The size is manageable and all
the paths are well established. There is very little churn. It is a pity that
it is so underutilised, but there are so many alternatives now.

The APRS network is fluorishing - more users than ever are getting active.
That applies to both VHF and HF activity. I think we're still going up the
curve - no sign of decline at all.
