Of the 13 postings and some back to the attention of those posting
etc .... there are 9 interested souls out there..of which 6 ...6
are sysops giving some idea of behind the scenes.
Nice to see some calls I remember posting to SP or SB and even
on the International chat bridge that used to exist here in
Ontario. Most with the feature ....either shutoff or Unknown.
For the past week, I have not been having a good week as most of
my amateur friends know, so I will have to take time and read
and reply to those now collected in the sequence I got them.
I have enjoyed the help, information, recipes and friendships
made via packet over the years, and sorry if I don't want to
drift off and over to Internet type things...If I did that
like the echolink and whatnot...I might as well go full hog.
A few years, they'd beat a path to your door to help you,
as I remember I would do the same...but older now and bad
knees, well the HF is down and out... so ...might as well
sell it and packet too....and on a pension the fancy stuff
and connections are OUT.
The only thing left to hammie about with is 2m FM to ???
I truely hope WE all do what many have shown it can be done
and get together via whatever means to improve the Radio
Packet.... for users and get support for Sysops most who
are not connected to a club for support....but are interested
enough to keep it going... HATS off to the sysops!
In the past, on packet radio....via packet radio I have
encouraged and got support for one sysop....for another
a TNC .... SO ... I know it can be done.
On FACEBOOK or on MSN setup a Group ...via Skype too make a
group.... and connect and talk it up ...
Anyway .... thanks to all for taking the time to comment
and suggestions, and ideas for action .... but now we have
all this .... we know who is doing what... it would be nice
