I have been running a FBB BBS in Eastern Ontario for the past 4 years.
Interest and access to the system has been minimal.
However, I have added a BPQ NODE and the new BPQBBS software and slowly
built my system up over the years with added links to NODES and BBSs
worldwide.
Slowly people are starting to take an interest and ask questions. A new
BBS/NODE VE3BHA has just been launched just north of me(Internet Link
since it is too far by Radio).
This station now adds RF(2m) links to VE3STP and VE3NRR. Suddenly we
have the makings of a small 2m network in Eastern Ontario. THis has
sparked some discussion and I hope enough interest to see further NODEs
and BBSs added in the future.
I eventually hope to see some one interested enough to start a system in
Ottawa our National Capital.
There is also a large network of stations in the Toronto Area all linked
via 2m radio.
