Hi Ivan and all,
I have also had no success with the ISS. I have tried with my 2Mts Folded
Dipole up at 10 Mts(30 Ft), Double Quad (Dick bow) on 70 Cms and, my usual 10
watts but no go. Even when they flew directly overhead (I waved but they even
ignored that !). But then we never know when they are sleeping or just too
busy. I have heard two South Africans, one in Cape Town talking to another in
Johannesburg. Up on 2 & down on 70 but that was via the repeater that was
operational for a change. I could not get through even in that mode.

Now MIR was another story I had many a chat with Sergie for the 10 minutes
that he was in my footprint. They always seemed to be available.
I have 2 QSL cards from MIR. One using Packet keyboard to keyboard chatting
and one using voice. They are now Treasured posessions, are Rare and a
collectors item (But I will swop them for a New rig Hi).
Let the people on ISS finnish of the new Modules, move the furniture around
then we may get our chance.
Regards, Peter ZS2ABF.

Don't forget 'LOOK TO THE SKIES"
and then read my UFO Interest Group News Bulletins on your local BBS from,
SAHRUIG - South African Ham Radio UFO Interest group.
