This is very alarming as its happening all over the world big tankers not
so big and even roro ferries, where on earth is the bridge crew?

Too much emphasis is placed on electronics these days and not enough on
pure common sense. Chap ferrying a large yaght from Ibiza to Gosport wid a
skeleton crew of 3 was almost mown down acrosss entrance to Bay of Biscay
because as he went into the swell the other ship came up and almost hit
him had it not been his quick thinking on firing a flare they may not be
here..

No respect for the power of the sea has to be the killer of these days.
