Hello Rodger, and all reading Rodge's interesting posting.

I am sorry, excuse me, but where is this place? I guess
one of the plates and few miles down there in the Atlantic?
Or ...is it an Island ? Sorry...

I can not remember seeing your first warning...

For those closest the ocean...I guess they can kiss
themselves goodbye. I am now wondering how far above
sea level I am here. I guess Lake Ontario, which
feeds the Seaway system to the Atlantic might be
geeting it, as it would follow the St Lawrence River.

This reminds me of a movie I saw advertised...I guess
the guys that wrote the plot heard about it. maybe?

Yes Rodge. It was the cellphone camera shot of the waves
rolling in...that was impressive, and too well so many
people really have no clue as to the power of wave action.

I think what will happen is one of two things, and even
if warned and if the situation is critical, people will
ignore the warning. What can one do? Evacuate to
where? Can you imagine the highway chaos on the east
coast of North America, or Europe and the British Isles?

I guess Rodge, you have your perch all picked out for
a speedy evacuation. I think if not Ireland, but
UK will get a good bath.

I will have to take a google and see if anyone over
here mentioned it? Interesting ....

Got to run .... having homemade soup tonight, as called
for in that Diet posted sometime ago by Maria. I like
some homemade soups, but for some reason I can stand
cabage....blaw... :(
