GRAN CANARIA?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Several years ago it was reported by several eminent geologist that a
portion of Gran Canaria was imminent to break off into the Atlantic
thereby causing the worst Tsunami known to mankind. The further the waves
have to travel the bigger and faster they become. Many of us our
scientists in our own disciplines (Mine is pure physics, geophysics and
solar flux) and reading this sincere alert i alerted the Ham world -
Apathy reigned. The general attitute seemed to be *Bring it on*.

Of course the eastern coasts of america/sud america/canada/et al and the
coasts of Africal and Ireland would suffer tremendous damage and loss of
life. The sea would reach 3-400ft in height and the sheer force of the
waves would travel many miles inland.

Did anyone see the Tsunami in Thailand? First the sea disappeared then
returned with some force to take lives and homes.

WHY do we ARES mention this?

Best wishes, Rodge (g0cjm/g6xcj at gb7cow.#44.gbr.eu
