Reads like my PK900 AEA and BTW the firmware is dated MARCH 1993.

I can call or arange for the BBS  VA3BAL to call my mailbox and
place and retrieve messages.  Thats ok...there is a provison
for the home bbs and that must be set as well have the sysop
of the BAL BBS also setup on his end.

I have no idea if AEA has upgraded anything since 1993, perhaps
but then things have been slipping for years in packet and
ham radio.

I like the idea Danny... this is new material for the topic
and very much welcomed.    I just have the power supply and
TNC and radio sit there idle all day lately.   It is on
the list for any future power savings to be shutoff and
shutdown.

I will try that FBB BBS program you suggested ver701 and
see what happens with my Win98 ...  I'll wake my neighbour
up to test it out.
