Hi all,
High CPU usage have been observed recently with Linux fbb.
This has been investigated carefully and it was found that
paradoxically this was due to the speed processing improvement
achieved by modern kernels and faster CPUs.
This problem is solved in the last pre-release version of
FBB package :
http://f6bvp.free.fr/logiciels/BBS-f6fbb/xd704s4-src.tgz
Prior releases have also been repared.
See xd704l2, xd704o2 and xd704p2 source packages.
"top" application was sometime showing wfbbd CPU load as high as 60%.
With the new versions it should now be less than 1%.
