Hi Michael
The NOV for GB7HCC took less that two weeks to go through from start to
finish.
I hold four NOV's,if we had to pay per port/year the network would grind
to a halt. most sysop's dont ask for donations towards the running cost,if
its offered they except,i just like providing the service. 
why do the NZ authorities charge so much for what is only a hobby not a
business.
$400 for the engineering setup is a bit over the top as well.

UK remote unattended BBS's or Nodes only need a cover letter from the site
owner giving permission to use the site.the cover letter goes in with the
NOV apllication form.
