Hi Ken G7VJA,

Nice to know your NOV isn't too nosy these days. The NOV to run a BBS or
Digipeater etc in ZL isn't nosy, just costs NZ$50 per port frequency a
year.
The $400 engineering set-up fee is waived if the National Association
NZART does the engineering planning.

Stations can run a manned operation for no fee, but the NOV is needed once
the operation isn't manned.

Most of the ZL BBS are run by NZART inc. branches, so the cost is
supported by them as well as user donations.
