The Difference, is IMMEDIACY .. so, what's that?
See Dictionary! it's a TIME-line, if you are a teenager, heaven forbid;
then it stretches to Saturday; that is the Day, you get a game of
football, Hostelling, fishing .. not School. It cannot come soon enough,
no matter what else you are doing!
IF, you are on a Course, 20's or thereabouts, a meet at the Club, with
the lads, before getting down to finishing off a Paper called for,
within the next two days!
Middle aged - it's all about getting down to a report, or Balance Sheet
to be sent in, by Return, phone in for Appointments for next week .. get
the feet up before the Party!
Old age? .. God! I'm still here - when's tea time? You haven't had your
breakfast yet!
Immediacy, is the Heart Clinic appointment, that you mistakenly
thought was this afternoon? It was yesterday morning, but was cancelled
until this morning; since you have had your dinner .. then I suggest you
get on that phone, and see if they can fit you in some time THIS WEEK?
Old age, cannot be confirmed by 'figures' - it is a state of
mind, assisted by practicality! Seeking Insurance, Medical Records, or
a Banking card renewal - they tend to insist on a reality check, so that
the figure is within reasonable bounds. No matter how many years on
your Birth Certificate .. you will be assessed as, too old, too young,
by female examiners; and far too old, by Male examiners.
.. going around, in THAT state .. really should be in a Home.
The thinking behind this comment is that, the interested party, has
already eyed up your property, and found it to be an ideal location,
certainly put in a bid, if it were to come up!
Old age, has a short immediacy factor - no matter what you
think, they are doing you a favour just to let you into their Insurance
Office, to see about cover. That cup of tea while you are waiting, is
more in their interests, than seeing you comfortable, and warm.
Being on the safe side .. they already have the Emergency number looked
out, and ready .. in case of eventualities!
