made up, awaiting an operative slot, that might not prove factual?
Plenty to get teeth into "it's ALL wrong!" ............ says WHO?
There are more suppositions in a Visitors tirade, than there are
currants in a Xmas pudding! Take a fact .. 'sitting there', 'dirty
windows', so what? It doesn't condemn the Surgical Staff, to calumny -
does it? IF, anybody is going to worry, with good reason .. see the
patient!
Take any African country hospital, and what they have NOT got, is
almost everything? So developed countries send them their older
equipment as they get renewals, and these renewals are heaven sent;
when you have just short of ZERO! First one to pooh-hoo because it is
Africa - these are human beings we refer to, .... so what makes us
so different?
A Mercy steamer with medical Specialists and properly equipped surgery
facilities, and Staff, arrive at a landing .. set up to take patients,
and some of them, took DAYS to get to the known landing; and were DAYS
too early! They WAITED, without complaint .. patient, and grateful
that they would get treatment, and, NO CHARGE, since they had no money!
Because they are three thousand miles away, shouldn't make a
difference; were we in that country, and needed the treatment, the
situation would be exactly the same! Cannot give, what we don't have
so, is it money being asked for? New equipment then, or drugs and
daily usage items?
NO! .. I am just blaring away; I haven't done much either and am
feeling a bit .. uncomfortable about it! You need NOT worry, we have
our personal choices to make, and it is nobody's business, to tell us
.. what we should do .. SELF, will answer, as it should. I am just
working up to something, as it is ME, for it .. and if there is a
credit side, then I get it!
YOU, will do as you see fit; nothing to do with me at all......
Visitors are visitors, and the patient is in the best place to be,
if ill and needing help. If it bugs you, take a clean wash-cloth
with you, and do the inside of the windows, so that .. you know you
have done something to help. Leave the outside alone, as it will
bring in, serious hindrances, to recovery, dust and wind? Any credit
there, will be .. yours.
.. it's a relief!
