Im curious, what are you using now to send this message?, I use a program called Tera Term VT for packett, while it is limited in its bells and whistles it does the job quite effectively, and I am currently using it with Vista, I think Vista is a Great Operating System and cant understand why so many have a problem with it, it has proven to be quite fast and reliable, I have had no problems since owning it in early december.
